Pine Tree Key is a nonpartisan voter tool designed to help Mainers navigate elections confidently. Unlike traditional platforms focusing on parties, Pine Tree Key connects you directly with the candidates. It shows you how their positions on key policy issues align with your views, giving you the tools to make an informed decision when it's time to vote.

We are currently getting ready for the 2026 Gubernatorial and U.S. Senate elections. Once the candidates are confirmed and we have received their policy stands, this page will allow you to walk through key policy-related statements tailored to the gubernatorial and senate races and select your stance toward each. Upon completion, you can compare your stance with the candidates' stances.

Pine Tree Key does not provide voting recommendations. Instead, it aims to give you the information you need to understand the political landscape and make an informed choice based on your own values.
